SOFLES at Wall to Wall Festival, Benalla

Wall to Wall Festival recently jumped off for its third event in Benalla, Victoria – a regional town in Australia, roughly two hours north of Melbourne. SOFLES, of the Ironlak Family, was able to make the jaunt this year, after not being able to attend previously. He joined a healthy line-up of local, interstate and international artists.

Arriving late and only having one day up his sleeve to complete a massive wall, SOFLES jumped straight into action mode. “It was really nice to finally get there, I’ve been invited the last couple of years but have been away. It’s always nice doing the smaller town festivals. Shaun gave me an awesome wall – big flat concrete. I wanted to make sure I beat the rain, so I got started around 9:30 am and finished at 6:30 pm. It’s fun to paint big, fast ones sometimes.” –SOFLES

He got to flex some of the new Lak spray paint colours too, choosing Ogre, Shamrock and Boston as key colours for his wall. The end result looking pretty damn impressive for a day’s work.
