Ironlak Art & Design Garden City is our fourth Australian store, the third in the greater-Brisbane area. Located on Brisbane’s southside, inside the Westfield Garden City shopping centre at Mt Gravatt, this new store marks an exciting step in our desire to create new breed of brick and mortar retail for artists. Our Garden City store features a compact design, the result of being challenged to create an elevated in-store experience within a smaller space. The store still houses our extended range of Ironlak art supplies, allowing us to bring our high quality and affordable art materials to creatives on the southside.
We call this store design ‘Monochromatic Tetris’. While we have retained some elements from our other Brisbane stores, the exterior of the store sets it apart with an installation of black and grey geometric shapes, that were designed with help from Vans the Omega. And our man SOFLES blessed the walls with black-linework illustration, painted with Lak spray paint.
Ironlak art products sold in-store include acrylic & oil paints, gouache, watercolour paint, brushes, painting knives, pencils, paper stumps, technical drawing pens, gel pens, canvas, charcoal, pastels, sketchbooks, pads and easels. We’ve got Ironlak apparel too.
We have product test benches in-store. Come in today and try some of our new art products or grab yourself a new shirt.
