VNA Celebrates 10 Years with Issue 34

Our friends at VNA magazine in the UK are celebrating. What are they celebrating, you ask? Well, 10 years in the independent publishing game is no mean feat! Over the years, the team have very nearly, almost (not sorry) crafted one of the finest publications dedicated to the wider artistic movements of graffiti/ public art/ illustration and the rest.

To mark the occasion, they’ve dropped VNA issue 34 and since it’s just arrived at our office, we can report that it’s the goodness. You can tell they dug deep on this one, recruiting legendary documentarian Martha Cooper for the cover story (that’s Keith Haring in the photo), along with our favourite New Yorker SEEN. Aaand our mate Selina Miles getting a worthy run within the pages. What else? They’ve got feature stories on Fafi, Invader, James Jean, Ghostpatrol, Usugrow, Todd Francis, Dave White and more. Very meaty.

Look for yours in a bookstore or newsagent near you, or save yourself the trip and grab a copy on the VNA webstore.

Oh, and here’s a look at some of the pages:
