Featuring local and international artists, live mural spraying, street sculpture, workshops, toy and knitting installations, Sweet Streets 2010 will be Melbourne’s street art festival of the year, October 8th-24th.
Opening Night and the Award Exhibition will be held at 1000 Pound Bend, with
a film night, fundraising event, forums, and charity auction also taking place at this festival hub. Other exhibits and events will be on at the Yarra Sculpture Gallery, Collingwood Underground, Signal, and Brunswick Street Gallery. Keep a look out for a number of outdoor locations around the streets of Melbourne (to be announced), which will feature live-painted walls by well-known street artists, throughout the festival.
