“The mural was painted in downtown LA off Wall st by the 10 freeway at the REBEL8 HQ in ONE day, which is NOT enough time for a wall of this size. We all used a variety of colors for the pieces. Pacific, Atlantic, Enue’s Bonggg!!!, Cameleon, Vans Kryptonite, Smoulder, and last but the least Battleship. All Ironlak baby… The amount of human shit along that wall was unbearable, specifically around my piece (Koast) towards the back corner. As much as my eyes were on that wall, so were on the floor. I remember the second day coming back to the wall to finish up, someone had just taken a fat dump in front of my piece the night before and it had just rained that morning prior to me getting to the wall. The combination of both worlds did not collide so nicely. At the end of the day I had to line the whole floor with cardboard boxes. No bueno…” -KOAST.
