In November 2015, Open Studio launched the inaugural November Reign mural festival – a congregation of graffiti and street artists painting murals on the Mid North Coast. The event ran smoothly over four stages, one stage each weekend in November. The festival saw 65 contributing artists from across Australia, and abroad, merging upon Coffs to share their culture which is usually reserved for the urban street scape, in the Coffs Harbour regional setting.
After the huge success and uprising of community support and appreciation, the event returns to do it all again in 2016!
November Reign is made possible through local business supporters, paint sponsor Ironlak and a team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers eager to enable the cultural growth of the region.
This year’s line up of artists have been selected based on their individual artistic contributions and recognition in the street art and graffiti scenes. The objective of November Reign is to offer space to the artists to showcase their work free from commercial restrictions.
