Melbourne homies NEW2 and DABS MYLA teed up a meet in Los Angeles lately.
“I recently made my first trip to Los Angeles to hang with good friends DABS and MYLA. Other than sampling suggestions from these two connoisseurs of fine donuts, checking out L.A. and meeting a bunch of cool people, I managed to squeeze a couple of walls in while in town.
One was a solo effort and the other a fun, ‘on the fly’ and spaced out collaboration with DABS and MYLA. I really enjoyed painting on, around and over each others work to try and tie our styles together as seamlessly as possible.
I also attended the opening of ‘DabsMyla and Friends: Marvelous Expedition’ for which I made a paper collage piece. You can see everyone’s work here.
