Before construction commenced at our new Sydney store, Ironlak Art & Design, we asked Brisbane-based artist Emmanuel Moore to decorate the temporary hoarding that sealed the site while the store was built.
He created the piece in one day, on location inside the Central Park centre. Kicking off during trading hours, Moore used Sugar Artists’ Acrylic to create his base fills, background clouds and shading – the low odour proving helpful in not completely fuming out the busy shopping centre location. When it came to the outlines, Ironlak Pump Action Paint Markers were the quick and easy solution.
The piece was in place for a couple of months while the builders did their thing. Eventually being ripped down to unveil the new store.
