Canadian Maple

Ironlak Family member MAPLE took a little spray vacay in the land of plenty recently. We got a first hand account and he sent us the flicks to prove it.

“I flew into Toronto and then got the worst food poisoning for the first day, just destroyed. It was awful, I puked into a five gallon bucket Jarus had at his house for mural painting. I was in bed for 24 hours then came to life and went and painted a wall by the river where there was a canoe rental spot. I also helped on a city grant funded bike path graffiti mural below a train station. Then we packed our bags and filled a rental car full of paint to drive across Canada, up and around the great lakes. After a speeding ticket and some warnings from local law enforcements, we stopped to fish, swim, and camp overnight. We found a remote yard in the woods and painted as the sun set. After more driving, a 30 hour trip all up, we hit grain country and set out to do hoppers for the remainder of the trip. After the day of the solar eclipse, a group of us witnessed the most amazing northern lights I have ever seen while out painting hoppers late into the night. Even the locals said it was the best display they had seen in a while. Solar flares bouncing off ice caps never looked so good! Daytime hoppers, joints, and beers became the theme for the last week. I camped near the trains and stayed at the spot all night. I assisted on helping and prepping for a large scale mural downtown in Saskatoon for an eleven story building with Jarus. We ended the trip off around a camp fire.” -MAPLE.
