Beastman Paints Vibrant Mural in Sydney CBD

Last year, Sydney-raised contemporary and mural artist Brad Eastman, aka Beastman, painted a large-scale mural in the centre of Sydney. The mural, spanning over 130 metres, features Eastman’s distinctive and colourful geometric design style, and “is a contemporary abstract interpretation of the repetitive patterns in nature, and the role humans play in its future”.

While painting the mural, Beastman took a moment to muse over the evolution of his artwork and the role murals play in making public space more colourful and vibrant.

The project was curated by aMBUSH Gallery for Arts Brookfield. Video and photos by Billy Zammit.
