If you attended any of the Analogue Digital Creative conferences this year you would have noticed the stage was furnished with a collection of custom designed Makris, Haynes & Co. (M,H&Co.) ‘Associate’ armchairs.
In the months since, these hand-crafted masterpieces have been finished with brass-branded buttons and shipped to the A/D headquarters in preparation for their launch on Stupidkrap.com later this month.
Each ‘Associate’ armchair will be launched in collaboration with esteemed heavy weights from the art and graffiti world: Including Ironlak Family member ASKEW (NZ), BEN FROST (AUS) and GESO (USA). Each collaboration is limited to five pieces.
Heavily inspired by his father, The creator of the pieces – Luke Makris – believes in designing and manufacturing furniture using only the best Australian timbers and materials. Founded on this principle, each piece is Australian made to the highest standard. With almost a decades experience, the ‘Associate’ armchair is the culmination of Luke’s skill and desire to design and build functional, classic furniture.
