“As we age we become jaded through repititous experience. We can easily forget that every moment in life is unique and will only happen once, instead seeing only the similarities that the experience at hand has with those past. When we were young we looked upon everything with curiosity, and approached everything completely unaware of limitations. We all wanted to be athletes, presidents, firefighters, and have our paintings in museums. For some the cost of learning to be practical is paid for with ambition. For others, youthful energy never ceases, limits are never set, and we left to witness the resulting achievements of those who never cease to quit looking at the world through young eyes.
“Both Noah Moore and William Willmott have shown the ability to constantly look at the task at hand as a new and exciting platform with endless possiblities. They both view each blank wall, new panel, canvas, or untouched piece of paper devoid of limits to what they may accomplish with the material. Their ambition is limitless and both have yet to get themselves in over their heads. When approached with large projects, both have shown the ability to respect and appreciate the newness of each opportunity.
“Moore and Willmott will collaborate on a large scale mural which will cover the 2631 Gallery’s south wall. After meeting very recently, a mutual respect was quickly forged and a plan was put in place. With help from Ironlak paint, the two will complete this project for the opening on May 7th. In addition collabortaive panels wil be displayed indoors, as well as new work from both artists.
“Rounding out the show will be a collection new work from Jake Beeson, Brandon Gay, Jordan Guinta, Wiley Robertson, Aaron Sutton, Jon Sims, and Thomas Woodward.”
