Huge wall at Nightcat by Everfresh Studio in ‘sunny’ Melbourne town.
“It was almost two and a half years ago that Rone and l walked into the Nightcat and got permission for the wall… and it was always one of those things we were going to do. After two years of not getting it together, l always thought l’d walk past one day to find a production started on it… and it was a relief to actually get it started earlier in the year.
Well despite what been written on a few of the local yuppie blogs about it being finished weeks ago, the beast is now finished. No idea how big it is, let’s just say l won’t be suggesting we shape up letters at that scale next time. The walls 100% in Ironlak – Aspen, Roarke and Battle. We kept things in greyscale as a bit of an ode to the old mural that covered the left hand side of the old wall.
A big thanks to Villian for helping out, along with Ironlak. Also the crew at the Nightcat and Max for making it all happen.
Here’s a few more photos for good measure…”
