I recently had the pleasure of connecting with a couple of gentlemen who I consider legitimate Aussie old school royalty, GUSTOE and PARIS.
Paris, a first generation Melbourne writer I saw from afar in magazines, while GUSTOE, under many of his well-known pseudonyms was widely considered one of Adelaide’s true style kings. I marvelled at his abilities as a young tacker when 73A ruled the southern suburbs I resided in.
Strangely after all these years, it was Brisbane we all happened to be in at the same time, and we knocked out this fun, afternoon chill wall. –Palms.
