We are seeking energetic warehouse assistants to pick, pack, prepare and dispatch orders and complete general warehouse duties at our Australian Ironlak warehouse in Salisbury, Brisbane.
You will be on your feet all day, preparing and sending orders for businesses and online customers. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all orders are dispatched on the same day that they are received.
Main duties include
Quickly collecting stock from warehouse locations
Carefully packing orders ensuring that they contain the correct items
Accurately using online systems to coordinate shipping companies to collect orders
Promptly finalising orders in the warehouse inventory management system after they have been collected
Communicate with customers with regards to the status of their orders
Additionally you will be required to
Put away stock when container loads are delivered
Keep picking areas appropriately stocked
Take pride in your work space by keeping the warehouse area and related stations neat, clean and tidy
Complete other tasks to assist in the operation of the warehouse from time to time
To be successful in obtaining this role you will need to
Posses great time management skills
Be a strong and confident communicator
Have the ability to complete duties independently
Be physically fit and able to be on your feet and moving for a full 8 hour shift
Enjoy working with other people
Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
You must have a forklift licence or be willing to obtain a forklift licence
Pay will be based on the Storage Services and Wholesale Award 2010 [MA000084]
