MEGGS | Venice Beach.

The ‘Venice Beach Bear’ private mural commission by Meggs (Australia) located minutes from the infamous Venice beach Boardwalk (LA), is a homage to the Iconic California Bear and the Venice Beach ocean lifestyle. Utilising his signature shapes and abstraction, with a color scheme to match the homes exterior and the ocean/beach side location, Meggs depicts the Iconic Grizzly somewhat emerging from a barreling wave formation of movement and color. The piece, commissioned by LA born & bred Seth and presented by branded arts, brings life and identity to his new home as well as another street in the art-orientated Westside of Los Angeles.

“This was a fun wall to paint and recieved a really positive response from the locals who walk past on a daily basis. Venice is my new hood for now so I’m stoked on painting as much as possible in this area and contributing to a Neighborhood thats been so well recognised for its art, skate & street culture, and hopefully from an outsider coming in, helping this culture here continue to stay!” -Megs.
