The KC Masterpiece mural festival went down in Kansas City over the weekend. MAST, RIVER, STALK, EWZE, MUCH, and HOPE4 set off, roadtrip-styles, in search of dope BBQ and good times. Here’s some words from MAST about their experience at the event:
“We took a quick road trip out to Kansas City to rock some pieces at the KC Masterpiece graff jam. We hit up some of the sickest BBQ out there (on the side of a gas station) and got to enjoy some of the KC nightlife. The wall we rocked in West Bottom had never been painted before, and it had these windows on top that had been closed up. It was a prime opportunity to do something fun. Dragsters and low riders were all around, so I threw one of them in the mix as well. It was a dope jam with a lot of great writers. Wish I could have gotten out to see more of the walls going up. Everyone really came correct. On the drive home we got to rock some daytime freights, a definite Midwest treat.” –MAST
