In 2011, a couple of dedicated friends of ours opened the world’s first Ironlak flagship store in Los Angeles.

We’d like to start by thanking everyone who has participated and supported us over the past three years, creating such an amazing experience at Ironlak LA! We’ve had a great time hosting all of the incredible art shows and working with so many awesome artists and fans! The amount of talented and inspiring people that we’ve been in contact with through the store has given us a huge amount of hope and excitement about the future of the art and fashion community in Los Angeles.
To fill you in on what’s been going on with the space; while renegotiating our lease we were unable to reach acceptable terms with our landlord and we closed the location late last year. While searching for new locations, putting together build out plans and continuing to work on our private clothing line, we came to the realization that it was time to re-focus all of our energy and resources on the future of our own brand, Read The Label. Seeing the potential and growing demand for the line, as well as the dedication required, we’ve decided that for now, we are going to put everything we have into expanding Read The Label as a lifestyle brand.
Read The Label, as many of you know, is the brainchild of the owners and operators of Ironlak Los Angeles and has been releasing quality products, sponsoring and supporting some of LA’s best events and artists for over five years now. We would like for all of our loyal followers to continue supporting us through this transition. If you’ve enjoyed any or all of the products we carried, events and sales we’ve thrown at Ironlak LA, we think that you’ll be really excited to see what we have planned for the future of Read The Label.
We continue to maintain a close relationship with the whole Ironlak Family and remain huge fans and supporters of the brand! We’ve been honored to work and grow with Ironlak over the past few years and have had such an awe inspiring and positive experience opening and operating their premier flagship store. We are also very excited to see the Ironlak product line expanding into multiple paint lines, new high quality art supplies, apparel, accessories and inventive media projects. We will continue to fully support and collaborate with Ironlak in the future, so look out for products and projects from us, as there will be plenty.
