Parisian bad-man FUZI, the ignorant master, painted a H.U.G.E. mural on the side of Boomtown Brewery in sunny Los Angeles, California over the weekend. Giving the new Lak cans a run, he covered the wall with a host of characters in his trademark style.
“For my first legal mural since I moved to Los Angeles a couple months ago – I had to paint a 25 feet high x 90 feet long brewery building. I chose to use only black and white, to match with the colors of the brewery’s interior, and to keep it close to my ignorant tattoo style. The entire piece is composed of integrated faces, fitting each other in a brutal, sexy, tough and funny crowd. This new style is an homage to old school b-boy characters, street throw-ups and tattoos. It took me 20 hours, over two full days, and 80 Ironlak Roarke (gloss black) spray cans to finish it.” –FUZI UVTPK
The wall is located in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District at 700 Jackson Street.
