‘North East South West’ | Exhibition Recap.
On the first of November The Biz Dojo in Auckland saw the artistic forces of BERST, KAPUT, FECKS and HASER combine for the aptly titled ‘North East South West’ Exhibition. Here’s a look at some of the works that were on display. Keep an eye on the blog over the coming days; let’s just say
CHINA | Ironlak Family and Friends (Video).
Earlier this year we kidnapped PHAT1, TUES and STORM from the Ironlak Family and headed over to China with YESMA, DYMS, PALMS, MUCH, RIFLE, RUSTE and MEMOS. After a quick stop in Hong Kong, we crossed the border into mainland China where we were greeted by TOUCH, SENK, MEGIC, KISH, MOK and the rest of
‘The Hours’ visit ASKEW’s Studio.
The Hours caught up with ASKEW in his Auckland studio and again on his arrival in Sydney. They spoke with him about his involvement in Wonderwalls Festival and delved a bit deeper into his latest body of work for his first ever Sydney solo show ‘The Evolving Face’ which opens at The Tate in Sydney

If you’re in Auckland make sure you get along to The Biz Dojo at Suite 108, Ironbank K’rd to see BERST exhibiting alongside FECKS (Perth), KAPUT (Vancouver) and HASER (New Zealand) for one night only in their exhibition entitled ‘North East South West’. Opening Friday the 1st of November at 6pm.

The Ironlak dream began in 2002, when a young graffiti writer from Sydney wanted to offer Australian writers a premium spraypaint brand at an affordable price. As the first Ironlak cans rolled onto shelves in 2004, the price of premium spraypaint was cut dramatically, opening up a whole new world of possibilities for Australian artists.
ASKEW | ‘The Evolving Face’ Exhibition.
ASKEW is holding his first ever solo exhibition in Sydney. Presented by The Hours, the show entitled ‘The Ever Evolving Face’ opens at The Tate on Wednesday the 13th of November at 6pm and will continue daily (12-5pm) until the 17th of November. Ironlak Halloween.
Be afraid, Halloween is creeping up on us. Join in on the pre-Halloween antics; rock a ghoulish production and post it up on instagram or Twitter using #ironlakhalloween and @ironlak. We’ll post the most bloodcurdling pieces on on the Ironlak blog once the darkness passes. Bonus points if the Ironlak Halloween colour is featured heavily
ASKEW | ‘Inferno’.
ASKEW cut his painting ‘Inferno’ down into 32 segments which are now for sale at his store for only $140.00 NZD. The plan is to channel the money made from selling these into renovating the front 150 sqm of his warehouse studio into an exhibition space. This will be the first of it’s kind in
AUAT Presents ‘Bradley Lane’ | Auckland, 2013.
AUAT (Aotearoa Urban Arts Trust) collaborated with ASKEW, GARY SILIPA, MISERY and BENJAMIN WORK to give Bradley Lane in Glen Innes, Auckland some new flavour.
