If you’re in Auckland make sure you get along to The Biz Dojo at Suite 108, Ironbank K’rd to see BERST exhibiting alongside FECKS (Perth), KAPUT (Vancouver) and HASER (New Zealand) for one night only in their exhibition entitled ‘North East South West’. Opening Friday the 1st of November at 6pm.
The Ironlak dream began in 2002, when a young graffiti writer from Sydney wanted to offer Australian writers a premium spraypaint brand at an affordable price. As the first Ironlak cans rolled onto shelves in 2004, the price of premium spraypaint was cut dramatically, opening up a whole new world of possibilities for Australian artists.
ASKEW is holding his first ever solo exhibition in Sydney. Presented by The Hours, the show entitled ‘The Ever Evolving Face’ opens at The Tate on Wednesday the 13th of November at 6pm and will continue daily (12-5pm) until the 17th of November. ASKEW cut his painting ‘Inferno’ down into 32 segments which are now for sale at his store for only $140.00 NZD. The plan is to channel the money made from selling these into renovating the front 150 sqm of his warehouse studio into an exhibition space. This will be the first of it’s kind in
