Unruly Gallery’s ‘Calligraffiti Upside Down Tour’ and Rooftop Cinema are proud to present the debut screening of “KROONJUWELEN” (Crown Jewels), a film about the formative years of Dutch graffiti.
KROONJUWELEN is a unique documentary that captures the history of graffiti in Amsterdam from the late punk ’70’s up until the subway bombing of the mid ’90’s. The movie documents the reconstruction of an upcoming subculture where the viewer is led through Amsterdam by many interviews with writers like SHOE, DELTA and HIGH. A film filled with specials and never seen before footage, completed with original beats. A must-see for every graffiti fan.
