With beaches, birds, flowers, and graffiti, a lot of graffiti. MERLOT shares a recap of her summer adventures in Los Angeles.
“Over the summer, I decided to take a short trip to LA as it had been a while, and I knew I could use some time relaxing on the beach and spraying with friends.”
“I kicked off the trip by painting with ALOY on the 3rd of July – showing off our holiday spirit with Independence Day themed pieces. Got a little burnt but all worth it. :)”
“Soon after, my friend AERUB. from Seattle, met me to join the fun. We ended up painting with VYAL at the Container Yard, painted at Venice beach wall (never painted there before so figured I should check that one off the list), and did a studio visit at Risk and Seen’s studio. Just being there was very inspiring, those two are constantly working on something.”
“Lastly, I was able to get a piece in with TRIXTER and SHIEK. I believe the last time I painted with or saw TRIXTER was in 2014, so it was nice to finally catch up.”
“For as short as the trip was, I was able to get a good amount in and make the most of it. Until next time!” –MERLOT
