This is hands down one of my favourite graffiti videos that we’ve ever published. In late-2013, with the talented Selina Miles on the cameras and the cut, a handful of writers jammed into a couple pick-up trucks, packed a shitload of spray paint in the trunk, and hit the road with one thing in mind: putting paint onto freight trains. A whole lot of them, from coast to coast, America-style. Beer, bad food, and some good ole graffiti on metal.
“I’ve heard some outrageous shit.”
I remember speaking to Selina on the phone when she returned to Australia and she was amped on the trip – “I shot a hyperlapse in a freight spot!” She killed it on this one.
Hope you enjoy the throwback. I’ll leave you with some of the old boy country lyrics from the video…
“We’re still just fine without the boys in blue. I was raised this way. If you wanted a fight, you’re at the right place. How you like that boy let me know how it tastes. Come and get em.”
“I’ll be here all night ’til the mornin’ light. If you wanna come get ’em they ain’t hard to find.”
Let the good times flow.
