In this edition of Canvassed, we catch up with Chicago-based artist and creative director, POSE, who is Australia-bound for an installation for Cooper’s Dark Ale. POSE gives us more insight on the project and lets us in on what he’ll be up to when he hits our shores for the first time.
What can you tell us about your project with Cooper’s?
It’s been killer so far, they are rad but I can’t leak any details yet, all I can say is I’ve definitely never worked on a project like this ever before. It’s been really exciting and challenging all at the same time so I can’t wait for the end result.
How long have you been working on it?
Exactly two months.
How long will you be in town? What will you be up to?
Seven days. Most of the time will be spent in the studio working on the project, but definitely want to get in some painting and see what the graff and art scene is like. Honestly I want to take in as much of Australia as I can while I’m here. So basically no sleep, working lots, spraying and hopefully partying pretty hard in Melbourne once the project is wrapped.
