JAMES DODD | ‘Artists in Schools’ at Angurugu School – Northern Territory, Australia.

Celebrated Adelaide artist James Dodd recently visited Angurugu School in remote Northen Territory. The school is located on Groote Eylandt, the largest island in the Gulf of Carpentaria.

Angurugu School was proud to host James as part of the ’Artists in Schools’ program. James started working on a number of hands-on projects at the school that directly involved the students. He tutored the students in the basics of stencil art and worked alongside them in small groups to develop images that will help to decorate areas around the school.
