The Ironlak Graffiti Competition 2011 | SILVER prizes announced.

Here are the SILVER awards for The Ironlak Graffiti Competition 2011.

*Note: In the UK/Europe region we arrived at a ‘tie’ between two entries for the SILVER AWARD. As opposed to dividing the award we felt it only fair to award both entries an equal amount of paint for their efforts.

Each of these entries will receive 240 cans of Ironlak 400ml paint:

REGION 1. Australia/New Zealand. SILVER: DEPHT, FSUTE and TUAK – Brisbane, Australia.

REGION 2. North/Central/South America. SILVER: ZADE – Quilpié, Chile.

REGION 3. UK/Europe. SILVER (1): BONZAI, EPOK, DEAD, KAK and SMUG – Liverpool, United Kingdom.

REGION 3. UK/Europe. SILVER (2): KATRE, TWOPY and TAROE – Paris, France.

REGION 4. Asia. SILVER: LINZU, TAYE, MORES, SHOES, BONE, SEMIK and WHICH – Shanghai, China.

The Ironlak Graffiti Competition 2011 | Your last weekend to burn!

The final date for submissions to the Ironlak Graffiti Competition 2011 is drawing nearer every day…

ENTRIES CLOSE on 30 NOVEMBER!!!

This year, we’re looking the for best production from the following four regions:

1. Australia/New Zealand.
2. North/Central/South America
3. UK/Europe
4. Asia

Remember, the GOLD PRIZE winner from each region will win 500 cans of Ironlak. PLUS! An overall GLOBAL WINNER will walk away with 800 cans of Ironlak!!!

This is your last weekend to give it a go, so get your friends together and show us what you’re made of!

MEETING OF STYLES – Changsha, China.

Ironlak sponsored the Meeting Of Styles in Changsha, Hunan Province. It was a large scale production, with more than 100 writers at the scene. There was some bad weather but the enthusiasm kept the writers going. Very few people in China like to do graffiti, but they’ve had a long time to cultivate. In the evening more than 30 people were arrested by local police because they didn’t accept the rules… GRAFFITI ANYWHERE!!
